Hey just a try with the models I have. Problems, ideas, suggestions welcome. I don't have any more vehicles at this point haha but yes I know I need more. Here it is

This list is pretty terrible: without vehicles those footslogging boyz are dead turn 1, the big mek with kff could be good on a bike, but on foot is terrible either. I'd suggest to play in lower points games because against many lists you'll be tabled turn 3. Add vechicles, mek gunz and buggies. At 1500 points you should deploy 10 trukks or 8 trukks plus bikes or 3 battlewagons plus bokes or 2 wagons and three trukks plus bikes, and lootas/mek gunz to complete the list. If you really want to play at 1500 i'd suggest to go double cad and take a full footslogging list with 3 mobs of 30 boyz, gretchins, single deffkoptas, the bommer, min squads of lootas, mek gunz and maybe killa kans. With a warboss, painboys and that big mek with kff as HQs. If you don't have some mek gunz use tankbustas models as lootas, 3 or 4 min squads of 5 lootas are pretty good. It's certainly more competitive going with transports and bike but if you lack the models don't mix different styles of playing, go full footslogging.

If you do wanna try footsloggers, you need more ranged dakka. More lootas, or a gorkanaut. But if you do plan on going full mechanized force it doesn't really matter. Your squads of 10 boys are begging for trukks.
Also, too many upgrades. Red paint and the tankbustas nob can go. The kff doesn't confer its ranged if the mek is embarked, so only the vehicle he's in gets the save. Dump the ard case, you want the wagon carrying your cc unit to be able to assault out of it, and their 2+ save will protect them from explosions anyway. A pain boy may be the better choice and saves you from having to take the cybork body.
I'm working on an ork tactica, you can check it out in my sig. Don't mean to be snobby, but there's way more there than I would dare to repost here.

yeah, it's not a competitive list but you can play and have fun with these orks, they seem balanced... i'm not sure about footslogging tankbustas, unless you play in a scenario full of buildings they seem too fragile, but maybe they can work. Also single deffkoptas are very useful in footslogging lists as they can grab objective out of range of slow boyz, they can get linebreaker quite easily at the end of the game or charge a unit that has strong overwatch in order to sacrifice a single kopta instead of cripple a unit of boyz, and some twin linked rokkit maybe can cause some damage during the game. Furthemore i'd recommend to bring just min squads of lootas, so you can fire at more targets if you need to, and they are also more resilient as a unit of 8 is probably wiped out after a turn of shooting as well as they were just 5, so taking more squads increases their survivability. You has six heavy support slots, use them  A grot orderly costs 3 points, so the painboy actually costs 53, not 55 points  List is nice, i'd only add a 2-3 single deffkoptas, split the lootas units into minimum squads and cut the big mek as the KFF is good when it has to protect vehicles or walkers, i think the flyer would be a better choice if you already have the model.

Best HQs for footslogging lists are one warboss and as many painboys you can have (ideal case is a painboy for every mob of boyz), other choices are situational. Maybe a second warboss could be good. In many circumstances a painboy is better than a big mek with KFF beacuse the FNP is a 5+ save as well as the invuln, so against s7 or weaker shots with a painboy you have a 5+ save that also counts in close combat and for lesser points. If the opponent has a lot of s8 shots or even s8 blasts the invuln is better as FNP has no effect against those hits. The big mek with KFF is not useless, i just think he is more efficient in giving the invuln to gorkanauts or kans or even the stompa other than the unit of boyz he joins. Maybe could be useful to protect the tanktbustas.

I wrote up my list and brought the models already but ill post how the list does and then do the changes next time. Painboys sound like a way better deal, cheaper as well.
