You can park vehicles around to prevent tank shocks. Jinking Tetras with Disruption Pods could do the trick better than most.

So then I just get creative with wall placement I can take up to 6 "6 tank traps with the defense line and if I place one two part section in the middle perpendicular of each tank trap I could box a stormsurge in and then he can only be tank shocked by skimmers.

You'd be able to be tank shocked by skimmers (Tau, DE, Eldar, maybe necrons if GA's count, probably somthing else I'm forgetting too).
