Hi everyone, I am trying to create a pure Slaanesh Daemons list. I would appreciate some help on how to make it as fun to play whilst still being as competitive as possible. I have most models already except a Chaos Knight and Belakor, who is banned for not being hedonistic enough.

Daemonic Incursion

Command
Keeper of Secrets
-Level 3 Psyker (telepathy), Two Greater Rewards
Keeper of Secrets

Flayertroupe
Daemonettes x10
Daemonettes x10
Daemonettes x10
Daemonettes x10
Daemonettes x10
Fiends of Slaanesh x6
Herald of Slaanesh
-Level 2 Psyker (telepathy), Steed of Slaanesh, Lesser Reward (etherblade), Exalted locus of beguilement, The Forbidden Gem

Auxiliary
Seekers of Slaanesh x5
Seekers of Slaanesh x5
Seekers of Slaanesh x5
Seekers of Slaanesh x5
Seekers of Slaanesh x5
Seekers of Slaanesh x5
Herald of Slaanesh
-Level 2 Psyker (telepathy), Steed of Slaanesh, Exalted Reward (grimoire), Lesser locus of grace

Both heralds join the fiends. Locus of grace will still help the seekers within 12 inches. Flayertroupe herald will be a challenge machine. Hopefully will still be invisible (90% chance for at least one of my psykers to get it) if grimoire fails on the fiends.

I'm gonna be honest, I have no constructive criticism to add, but I'm really happy you're making this and I really hope it works out.

Blood Angels, Custodes, Tzeentch, Alpha Legion, Astra Militarum, Deathwatch, Thousand Sons, Imperial Knights, Tau, Genestealer Cult.

I have a problem.

Being contrary for the sake of being contrary doesn't make you unique, it makes you annoying.

Dude, if you field it on a board, could you tell me how it fared ?

I'm building a Slaanesh Incursion myself and had some problems finding ideas to fill the remaining points after Flayertroupe and Grand Cavalcade. I copied Frankies list from Frontline Gaming which included Fatey and 2 minimal LoC's.
I love the idea of double KoS and Fiend "Star". But I'm not going to sculpt another one...

I'm also thinking about just adding 2 Renegade Knights, but they'd probably work against the theme of the army as the only vehicles in a MSU-list.

Would love to hear about other builds what to add to the mandatory Slaanesh Core and Aux.

Daemons of Slaanesh
Dark Mechanicus (counts as Adeptus Mechanicus)
Emperor's Children
Renegades of Vraks
Armoured Krumpany (counts as Leman Russes)
Skaven
*all armies are, and will most likely ever be, unpainted WIP*

If you want a particularly deadly deathstar take your herald and scrap the forbidden gem, take the grimoire of true name, max the fiends of slannesh, if you roll well you will essentially have 9 invisible fiends with stormshield saves (3+) making them an incredibly powerful deathstar that even kitted out thunderwolves and wulfen wouldnt want to face.

Now the only problem would be to make 9 awesome fiends without then looking like Seekers with claws or 'Nettes with tails...

Renegades of Vraks
Armoured Krumpany (counts as Leman Russes)

Here's some models I've been eyeing for Fiends.
A bit different aesthetic, but still wormy, sexy, and alluring.

Thanks for your feedback everyone and love the fiend of slaanesh ideas. There is a variation of the list with chariots to fill the cavalcade and a maxed fiend star AND seeker star but I don't have the models yet.

I am going to use Hounds of Xapahan for my Fiends of Slaanesh. They seem to be the correct scale and would allow me to play at official events and stores. The only trouble is I would want my herald to match them and the closest thing I can think of is Kazyk, who is a nurgle model from Forgeworld.

I wouldn't want to spend much effort smoothing out the Kazyk model as I am useless with greenstuff, just hoping it can look like a beat-up fiend who has seen alot of battle with a Herald rider

Love your army! Mine isn't painted yet... What did you do for your herald on steed at the front? Got any more close ups?

Only place I can see the list in the original post falling flat is the complete lack of Anti-air.
And I think it'd struggle against armour 13 walkers as only the KoS's stand any chance of harming them and they are really easy to kill.

(Also in the list in the previous post the points cost of the upgrade characters in units hasn't been added on- lesser rewards on seekers, alluresses in daemonettes)

The herald is the medusa from the cauldron of blood.

Fiends can glance Armour 13. Getting some chariots will do the same with their HoW. I managed to kill a Imperial knight with 3 chariots charging 1 before

Ah, yes they can. Ignore that part then (At least until an Imperial Knight kills them all with it's battle cannon when Invisibility fails to go off...)

The Grimoire is pretty far from a guarantee even with a reroll in my experience. Still though it's got enough threat saturation to be scary to a lot of lists.

As to OP's list, what about dropping the Keepers in favor of Belakor and fleshing out a couple of units? I know it's not quite as fluffy, but Be'Lakor is undivided to it's not too far off theme (plus Be'Lakor would look awesome with a Slaanesh paint scheme imo). Having guaranteed Invis and shrouding on a FMC seems tailor made for this list, plus his Armorbane weapon will make short work of just about any walkers.

Gotta say that I really like the look of this style of list! How is it actually working out for you? How do you deal with going second against a shooty army?

I haven't yet had one game with my list, though I can really see myself losing alot of games going second. I wish I knew a good way deal with what you describe without relying on allying in a renegade knight or deviating from the theme.

putting seekers on the back of the board with the fiends and deep striking in the daemonettes could be an idea. the seekers are so fast it is scary.
