Hey guys been painting on and off for a while now. Well as much as a 3 year old and 17 month old twins allow.
Got into Warhammer fantasy just as the end times was starting and threw a bit of cash in what with rulebooks and figures only to see it all end in tears. Fell out of love with GW for a bit then started getting into the 40k lore with the heresy. Got a decent Salamander force going and now it seems like the same thing happening 40k wise. Lets hope not.
Only played about 4 games of 40k as of yet and a few of whf so looking forward to AoS So as i was a pretty good boy last year. Santa brought me the sigmar starter box and with a little persuasion the wife didnt say no to the battleforce box. At least not out load anyway.
Going to go Stormcast but maybe with a darker edge to them. I just read the first 2 sigmar books and still feel that there are the age old failings of man buried deeply away. So was thinking along the lines of traitor legion or a disillusioned legion at worst.
Anyway hope to be here a lot as i progress and look forward to hearing about and seeing all the wonderful miniatures you guys have to show.
Welcome! I played fantasy forever...and then it all disappeared. Had a huge Empire army and all, so I hear you. Enjoy 40k! Different, but has its own style and interesting bits as well.
