Crushing Black Templar Crusader Pilot

I'm not sure which board this ought to go in, so I stuck it in here.
I'm pretty far away from anywhere that I could get hold of models and paints etc, so I've lately taken to spending my spare money on ebook codexes that I've meant to grab, or to plan future armies.
Having seen planetary onslaught and a couple of others, I was wondering if there's anything anyone recommends, or indeed, advises against getting with regards to supplements and expansions for 40K. I'm probably gonna grab the new gathering storm once I get paid.
I recently read 'Crusade of Fire' and loved the idea of doing larger campaigns, or even just dreaming them up in my head while I'm geographically too removed for the physical element of the hobby.

As background, I've currently got a Black Templar army, with bits and pieces that (hopefully one day) will gestate into a inquisitor force, but I also wanna do Orks, Dark Eldar, nids and maybe chaos too to some extent.
Cheers!

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

You might want to keep a look out for the new Fall of Cadia campaign which is coming out: the first book has Inquis, SoB and Mechanicus stuff as well as campaign missions and fluff. My guess is that there will be more books following this one with stuff for most of the factions who are in and around the Cadian system.
