I have acquired one of these models with the intent to use it in a Renegade Guard army using an Astra Militarum list (not the Forge World Renegades one).

Is there a model that jumps out at you as this being the most appropriate to count as? I already have a commissar lord but I'm not totally against using this one instead/in addition.

Is there any reason this model wouldn't be appropriate to count as an Eversor Assassin, with a little needle on the bolter perhaps? Do I need to buy that new Imperial book to field an assassin? Would folks have a problem with an assassin in a Renegade army (not necessarily supposed to be an actual renegade assassin fluff-wise)? Are there any force organization restrictions on assassins?

Belgium

It could definatly work as an Eversor, the model really look like the Winter Soldier, Bucky Barnes in Captain America; the winter soldier.

Since your playing an IG army and not a Renegade army, then there is no problems in taking an Imperial Assassin.

Even if you played the FW renegades you could still play him, but you would have to deploy him at least 12" away from anyone and he can not be closer then 6" from the renegades during the game( Alliance matrix, comes the apocalypse).

You can easely fiend the Assassins rules on the web i think and simply print it.

Which range the model is from?

Generic characters disappearing? Elite units of your army losing options and customizations? No longer finding that motivation to convert?
