Hello,

I just finished my conversion work for my project of Legio Cybernetica army - my first vanguard model.

I'm after some hours of conversion work so I'm a little bit biased as of result. What do you think of my conversion?

That looks incredible! The head especially makes it look very 'robot'.

If anything, the legs look more like armour than cybernetics - if you want to emphasise that these are drone type things, a thinner leg may work better.

Similarly, the gun looks too much like a shotgun, rather than a mechanicus weapon.

A whole squad will be expensive!

Why must I always choose beween certain death and probable death.

Really like this, looks verys 60's-80's sci-fi. The kind of movie robot where there had to be a guy inside

The OP would have to confirm this, but the major components look like Mk3 Power Armour for the limbs, Deathwatch Veteran for the torso and shotgun, Skitarii Infiltrator head.

Seriously sick conversion, again with the 80's kind of feel. I honestly want to make some of my own now.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

Love the conversion work. Love the inspiration. I too love bad sci-fi robots. This guy belonged in the 30's flash gordon serial...with the rocket ships powered by sparklers.

Keeping the hobby side alive!

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.

Oh, gak, it's a memetic hazard. I see it too.

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

Indeed - Mk3 Armour from the boxed games (bought them online), Deathwatch Vereran torso and shotgun, Skitarii infiltrator head (for the good old power rangers feel ;P) and back from new genestealers cult box.

I thought more people will point out the similiarities between it and buffed up alfa from power rangers. Kind of disappointed.

EDIT: Now that I look at it I remembered - I forgot to cut the Inquisition logo from the shotgun! That's why you make test models I suppose
