Not sure if this is the right place. I have 100 points left in an 1850 list. The rest of the list modelwise is locked in. I'm open to additional wargear, relics etc., just not looking to take out any of the models already there.



So what do I add for 100 points? Another Burning Chariot? More Flamers? another unit of Horrors? 2 Tzeentch Spawn? Barebones sorcerer with Astral Grimoire? ML2 Herald on disc to help with fishing for the right powers?

How large can squads of thousand sons go? If they are big then i say (i know you might not like this) take the cad and make it an allied detachment. i would use ahriman as an exalted sorcerer with the astral grimoire and combine the two squads of thousand sons and make a blob of jump ap3-shooting infantry. I would like to know other models you so we can help you out more.

Rhinos maybe?

Paradox on the Herald.

Ahriman as warlord gives D3 infiltrators which i can see as a bonus to getting the slow rubrics up the table. Maybe give both a rhino.

I would say these need to go in so if you have to drop a model (i can´t remember the exact cost of paradox.

It means you get obj sec vehicles as well to protect your infiltrating rubrics

rhinos might help with saturation for the burning chariots. also...

Burning chariots are ridiculously fragile and cannot do anything it they are Jinking. If you are set on taking them (instead of just Summoning them), then you should indeed get some Rhinos.

Deploy the chariots on you deployment line, then Infiltrate the Rhinos in front of them to block LoS if possible.

Alternatively, you can drop both chariots & 1 Tz Herald for Fateweaver. FW can summon the chariots if you need them, plus you'll get an extra WC

tbh, if i was going to drop the chariots, i'd use the extra 100 points for paradox and a seer's bane exalted sorc. I love fatey, but most of the warp charge in this list outside of (hopefully) forewarning/cursed earth on the herald will be funnelled through ahriman for mind bullets.

And sorcerers who beat face are awesome

I'm a huge fan of the burning chariots, they draw fire like nothing else and that torrent flamer is enough to surprise many people, especially with the 12" move. Pathfinders and Marker drones are especially juicy targets.

My first thoughts were much the same as everyone else, 2x rhinos and paradox is 95 points, so jam a melta bomb on whichever squad Ahriman is going to join so he doesn't get tarpitted by a walker. A third chariot would be nice, but if you really want that, odds are that you'll grab it if you spam Tzeentch with the paradox sorc and you can just summon one on 5 dice. I think you'll get mor emilage out of the rhinos + Paradox personally.

Nice list by the way, I like it and run something vaugely similar myself and have decent success with it.
