An embarrassing question, but I must ask. I heard (have seen) there are new dreads and termies and other stuff. But.... what do I do? I have a few Sallies but big armies are all xenos....Orks, Eldar, Tau (def not 30k version of loin cloths and pointy sticks).

Depending on what army you play, one of the following is handy:

For vanilla Marine Legions (this includes all Dreadnought types released to date):

If you want to play one of the Legions, then you'll also need this book:

For Mechanicum armies:

For Solar Auxilia, Imperial Militia and / or Questoris Knights:

Fatum Iustum Stultorum

There are no xenos armies available under 30k rules. While you can play a xenos army against a 30k army, it is not standard. Others can provide you with recommended adjustments if this is what you're looking for.

In some ways, calling it 30K is a misnomer, as the FW books are solely focused on the Horus Heresy. Which was a largely xenos-free event, other than some Cabal meddling.

It's possible that Daemons will get their official 30K treatment in the book after Inferno (if it covers Signus as some have rumored).
