Good Morning everyone,

I just recently got into 30k and built a very large Iron warriors army.

I am looking to play some of it (within reason) with 40k chaos as well.

Are many of the 30k FW units/ tanks etc not allowed in 40k? I know FW and GW are trying to bridge the gap between the games as well as be more understanding with allowing people to play more of what they have.

I understand Pert, siege terminators etc wouldn't be allowed. But normal marines, havocs, terminators would be easy to use with rules adjustment.

Are these units allowed in 40k?

Imperial Armour 13 will have your answers. I'm afraid I don't have my copy in front of me but, from memory;

Fellblade

sicaran Main battle tank

are definitely in.

Venators and Legion Medusas definitely aren't.

Renegade Medusas are in the Renegade and Heretics armylist (Traitor Guard) in IA13 however.

Can't quite remember about Laser Vindicators (I think so, maybe). Or the mortars. Although, I think laser destroyers are? Not sure, I'm afraid.

The Stormblade isn't in the book at all... Not even in the traito guard list, sadly.

Laser vindicators are available for csm. (I think it's a download rather than IA13). Artillery will be in the renegade list.

Venator is sadly out. But the normal sicaran is in.
Some are relics of the armoury (off top of head fire raptor and sicaran) which need a 'Technomancer' to take more than one. (Warpsmith or maelific sorcerer).
