Hey guys, a while back I primed an Eldar War Walker and the primer dried kinda chunky and it looks cracked in places. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks for the help!

Probably have to strip it and start again. Maybe you could get away with sanding it smooth instead, but it'd depend on the primer you've used.

I used a sandable automotive primer, but I've used simple green on models before and it never stripped the primer.

May not have left it for long enough. I let mine sit for several days and never have problems getting down to the base material, be it plastic or metal.

I was always told to soak models for 24hrs. It gets the paint off, but not the primer. I might have to try soaking for a couple days.

Simple Green is not nearly as effective as it once was. Try Super Clean instead.

I'll see if I can find some. Thanks!
