In a Thousand Sons list using war cabal and sorcerers etc, should I take the baleflamer or auto cannon?

Blaflamer always. In particulat because that odd BS3, because hits more enemies and because kill better.

Baleflamer. Even though a Sons list isn't lacking for AP3, it is sorely lacking in coverbusting while the Baledrake has that in spades. The Hades on the other hand is terrible - 4 shots at BS3 means 2 hits converting to 1 pen or glance a turn before jink and unless you get very lucky, that's not going to stop anything. Not to mention that you can't vector and hit the same target with the cannon, so even as AA, it's still not doing a good job, not to mention that the cannon is AP4, so unless you're fighting nothing but harpies, they're not even jinking since everything else has a 3+ or better.
