I have a range of rank and file cavalry that I wanted to add some highlighting to. Each trouble has a colour theme, but these vary across the troops (i.e., some a mostly red, some a mostly green etc).

When using a wash you typically utilise the same colour for blue and for red.

I was wondering if there was a way to use the same colour for highlighting across the different troops in order to save time? I was thinking whether drybrushing with a dilute yellow or something of that nature. Thoughts?

What is the main colour of the troops you are looking at highlighting?

If quick and uniform is the goal a light grey/white with a wash to bring it back to the color you're after could work.
