Hey mates, pretty simple question for all of you. Currently working on collecting a list and basically I am in a bit of a snag. As it stands, my current lists stands as such:

* Coteaz
* 3x Squads of 12x Inquisitorial Acolytes (each with 10x Bolters and 2x Plasma Guns)
* 3x Squads of 10x Militarum Tempestus Scions (each with 2x Meltaguns)
* Scion Command Squad (with either 3x Meltaguns or 3x Hot-Shot Volley Guns)
* 3x Chimeras with both Turret and Hull-Mounted Hvy. Bolters, Psybolt Ammo
* 4x Taurox Primes (each with Missile Launcher and Autocannons).

Basically, adding a Knight will finish off the list at 2,000 points nicely, however I am torn between either the Knight Errant or the Knight Warden. The Knight Errant is tempting for the Thermal Cannon which would be useful, however the Warden Gatling Cannon is more flexible due to the number of shots and the fact it is rending. For both, the Carapace Weaponry would be either a Stormspear Rocket Pod or the Autocannon for the Anti-Air defense. Thoughts?

Single knight? Warden. All day, every day. Stormspear rocket pod. That way, you can force two squads of Eldar bikes to jink.

First things first - Never the autocannon, it's trash. The Stormspear is almost as good if not better as AA (since it's AP3 and most FMC's have 3+ armour which doesn't care about the autocannon) while being a million times better against ground targets for only a small price increase.

As for Warden Vs Errant, the scions probably have you covered for Melta, so unless you face more AV13+ vehicles than 3-4 squads of scions can handle, I'd probably go with the Warden.

Are you referring to the Autocannons on the Taurox Primes? Seems worth it as they are Twin-Linked at BS4 but would like to hear your opinion. As for the Knights, I am.leaning towards the Warden but some people have suggested the Crusader for the extra firepower. But not sure on that as part of the reason I went with the Knight is for the CC ability.

Warden is the best generalist Knight, atm. The Erant is best if you need aggressive AP1.

I personally run the Errant. The melta pie plate is awesome. Will slag a vehicle or a squad of guys. I run the autocannon for AA. Worst case they don't have air and I'm rolling 6's to hit with it.
