Sacrifice to the Dark God Tzeentch

Uk

I will over time build Rules up and add.

This is my own Daemonic Host dedicated to Tzeentch. Lead by a Daemon Prince gifted great powers and abilities by the changer of Ways.

Xar'aph'Taa the Flamebound 345pts
Spoiler:

Once a mere mortal Sorcerer, dabbling in the ways of pyromancy and precognition, Xar'aph'Taa was gifted great power from the Grand Conspirator. Elevated to Daemonhood and eventually gifted a grand host of Daemonic followers. He was tasked by Tzeentch to spread his Daemonic Flames through the Galaxy, system by system. Leaving a trail of destruction in the name and symbol of the Changer of Ways, Tzeentch.

He's pretty close, but some questions arise.

Why are his core stats different from that of a normal Daemon Prince? Namely T6 and an extra wound, why does he just get that? I also notice the lower WS, which I assume you thought you could lower in order to justify those boosts in other stats? Sorry, doesn't work like that. Re-balance his core stats to be more in line with other Daemon Princes, or raise his cost.

His axe is fine, although AP2 is superfluous on an MC.

The biggest issue is that you've built this guy in a way that doesn't even remind me of Tzeentch. He's a big melee beatstick (Khorne) with above the line toughness and wounds (Nurgle) and psychic powers that hardly set him apart in a uniquely Tzeentch way. At the core, he's just pretty vanilla and meh.

The irritating host:

Roll up d6 gifts for everyone. Write it down on a sheet of paper. Everyone's a psycher. Roll up psy powers. Write them down on a sheet of paper. All the big models are warlords, roll warlord traits for each of them - write them down on a sheet of paper. Take the sheet of paper and leave the room to talk on the phone. Return without a sheet of paper.

Repeat the process until the opponent concedes. If he tries to charge you, hit and run out of combat.
