Something that's been in the works for a while at Baphominiatures is the addition of a custom digital sculpture service that would allow clients to have parts designed for their armies and printed with high fidelity.
In an effort to start rolling that process out, we've opened a store that is currently offering custom Space Warrior pads, in a variety of styles printed with your choice of emblem.

In the future there will be additional miniatures, custom bits services and much more, but we're very excited to start with this small baby step towards providing a unique service to the wargaming community.

I hadn't even thought about them and I've always wanted a small detachment of those .

I like the American flag one, it's funny how few country-based marine chapters are out there.

A Union Jack shoulder pad would also do well I think.

I have always wanted someone to design more interesting poses for the bodies of Hormagaunts and Termagants. Any chance that you will make some "bug bodies" instead of just another shop rolling out shoulder pads?

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

I think they deserve their place.

Mmhm, pretty much anything can be printed. Im sure there will be some rebel alliance or Imperial empire ones, eventually.

Thats a question that I have an oddly specific 'yes' to, because its one of the main reasons I ventured down the 3D printer rabbit hole. No timeline on that though.

Any chance to see Terminator-equivalent sized pads in there as well?

Out of curiosity, when it says "10 pair" does that mean you do a custom left/right set (20 total), and that if you just wanted a single design you could technically just get 20 of the same design?

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

Along with plans to make terminator size pads, would you be open to making different shaped pads that are more like the plastic MKVII tactical marines? Your pads look absolutely great, but they're a bit more sloped than the plastic MKVII pads especially at the top and the bottom corners are just slightly splayed out. The plastic MKVII have a slightly larger lip and curve more severely to end 90° to the vertical lip while the vertical curves go all the way down and end almost 90° to the horizontal flat edge

These are not my 3D renders, but show what I mean:
Spoiler:

I'm currently rebuilding an old Space Wolf army I sold years ago. Originally I freehanded the unit badges/pack markings, this time around I was going to have custom decals done, but would MUCH rather have 3D molded pads than decals. I'd also love to have my forum avatar as a custom pad for the army badge, right now i've got about 60 of the plastic SW "ragnar" pads that I'm painting white on a black field but would rather switch to making it my own actual icon. I'm also not fond of having one side 3D molded and painted with the other side decals on a smooth pad. There's a lot of pads on Shapeways, but I'm not confident in even the Frosted Ultra Detail prints, your resin looks to be much better quality for about the same cost. Almost placed an order a couple times the last few weeks, but I'm a bit anal retentive when it comes to shapes and body lines and the shallower slope and thiner lip on your pads has kept me from ordering any
