Hi everyone.

I've been learning some 3D design skills lately, so it's no stretch of the imagination to digitally mock up the models I'd really like to make. What do you think of this one?

Fareham

Looks good, but keep in mind orks build ramshackle constructions, so they wouldn't have a uniformed defence line made up of identical sections.

Would be more than likely 1 or 2 of those mixed in with sheets of metal, tyres and debris.

Okay. I'll keep working and probably make the rest of the pieces as though they are just random metal panels. Just seemed like one should be the orky glyph.

Good start, I like it. Seconded on the idea to throw some scrap bits in there. Tires, I-beams, chunks of metal, street signs, etc. Tougher to do when 3-D printing I know. But more "authentic". Interested to see how this turns out.

Some of that may be part of the process after 3D printing the base form. I can take a sheet of plasticard and cut random bitz to glue on a lot easier than digitally sculpting them on the computer.

Orks have also been known to loot practically anything and everything . I belive an ork and or orks have looted imperial titans in the past and have also tricked other races into giving them loot. So don't be afraid to glue random tau, eldar, imperial, or even tyranids bits. Also dakka is a big thing even if you rule the guns non working they would have all sorts of guns on their walls. Cause you ain't ever got nuff dakka.
