Again, cheap and cheerful, but you can remove the shade if you want and it can be bolted/screwed to your desk. It uses a E27 screw fit bulb.


Heh! I was going to mention this myself. I've got one next to me, attached to the table. I used to have long, fluorescent white desk lamps from Argos and Micromark, but they broke and it looks like they aren't made anymore. Not in an easily affordable form, anyway. I got the Ikea lamp as a replacement, with the recommended 'opal white' bulb, and it does the biz so far. Might get a second for proper lightbox lighting.

It clamps to the table edge though. You can screw or bolt it if you like, but there's little need. Unless clamping is what you meant...
