In between projects and things like moving house and just life in general, I have been trying to work on my Vulkan conversion. I may still have another pass at his loin cloth and spear. And the flames on his shoulder pad aren't what I would have hoped they would be.









Additionally his head is a little miss cast, something I only noticed late on, so not much I can do about it!

Other than that, anything else on him that looks ropy is due to my novice green stuff skills!

He is largely finished, if I get time I will try to do a scenic base thing for him.

I think that looks fan-freaking-tastic! Don't think I've ever seen a Vulkan conversion before.

I'm not usually a huge fan of the Salamanders' flame motif, but the flames on the bottom of his cloak look amazing. Great job!

The flames are particularly well done, and the lava on the base looks realistic and bright, but is perfectly understated so it doesn't draw attention from the wonderful paint job!
