I'm a very basic painter, but I love the look of these guys. I hope you enjoy.

They look good, very crisp and the green is particularly well done.

One thing worth noting is that they might be a bit monochromatic.

There is nothing at all wrong with a simple scheme that's executed very well like yours here. I like them just fine

realism is a lie

Exactly this. Oftentimes simple is better. Good work!

Thanks for the comments guys.

Yea I understand they are very bland. I will keep adding details as I go.

Great looking models! Gotta love a Necron! One suggestion would be to throw a shade on the Overlord's cloak to bring out the detail

Crisp, clean, and gorgeous photowork - well done. It does highlight how much I don't care for the Necron lord models - they almost all fall short of the rest of the range, oddly.

Thanks man. The cloak does have a wash on it, it's reikland fleshshade and then I've dry brushed 2 layers up to silver. It's not as noticeable in the photos, the over exposure has sucked the life out of the gold haha.

Wow!

That lord is looking amazing.

I especially love the gold!

Very clean and simple, just how Necrons should be.

Why do you only have 1 whip coil on each wraith?

I actually have no idea, and once I had built them I realized you could actually turn the arms upside down for more dynamic posing.

I've got another round of Wraiths on their way, thinking I might do double coils.

I just always assumed the came as pairs. No harm in just having 1 I guess, I've just never seem them that way before.

I've seen some people attach them to the back legs so they hang under the bodies more, and are less entangling. But I've never seen a singular coil before.

I remember reading on the battlescript that you could upgrade them with a whip coil. So I thought that was singular. I rechecked my resources and find that it's whip coils, haha. I will just leave them because the glue holding their front claws together is brutally strong. It's like a binding glue.

Immortals with gauss cannons. Really basic as they are part of my infantry choice.

Sorry, I just meant that my bigger models and HQs will have much more time spent on them.
