This is a purely lore question that has nothing to do with the rules of the game. When the DA and BA have fought each other, who usually wins? Also if they never really fight in the books, which faction is more likely to best the other more often than not.

The answer to this question is found by playing the two armies against one another. You will find no correct answer to this in the lore.

Well, the Blood Angels are vain and flamboyant, so if they won a battle they would brag about it far and wide. The Dark Angels are shadowy and secretive, never telling anyone anything.

I've never heard of the Dark Angels fighting the Blood Angels, so I guess that tells us who won.

They've never fought, and as far as I know they've never even had any tense encounters. If you're a Dark Angels fan you can find a reason for the Dark Angels to win, and if you're a Blood Angels fan you can find a reason for them to win.

The blood angels probably don't give as gak about the cloak and dagger around the da. They are too busy hiding the flaw and fighting off existential threats.

Not to imply their best buds, but these to chapters have a lot in common thematically. They even used to share a codex long ago.

They probably are pretty good allies. BA don't ask questions, DA don't tell.

They have clashed a few times but every time they were close to resolving who was better, The Dark angels got a phone-call and flew off
