Big Terrain sale events are coming in November according to these rumors. Literally 25% off for terrain sets is a good deal, and something I would be looking forward to if this all pans out and there is enough demand for them.

Please remember that these are rumors right now. There is a lot of details on these, and if they are indeed needed to be ordered soon, we should be getting more details and images soon (if not an official announcement)

Later this year around November, GW is planning to release several terrain sets and paint sets just in time for the holiday season. These will all have about 25% price reduction over buying everything separately. The sets will only be produced if globally there is enough demand that GW can justify making them. If you wish to get these then you need to tell your stores that you would like to order them before March 3rd.

Whoa! A approximately 28% added value!

Sounds like justification for reeeealy expensive bundles.

That shield one I like. Two void shields go to with the original polystone one I have, plus some pipes (yay?) plus two of the BLOOOOD REACTORS.

Good set.

I'd get the AoS one. Looks solid.

Was neat to see the guys from Dethklok got another gig after Adult Swim canceled Metalocalypse.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

The AoS ones are nice as well.

The big Chaos Fortress ring is cool, plus those sets come with the ruined end pieces (2 of each) that you sadly can't buy separately.

Outpost Pythos IV will make a great DW terrain since I'm working on them this year. And it gets the cool deathworld forest stuff.

Assuming nothing else comes up this year (doubtful) then I'll do it.

Not bad. I wish they'd done this with Fantasy terrain instead of killing it. My towers and shiny new Garden of Morr could've really used a Fortified Manor, but that was always out of stock when I wanted to buy it.

With Sigmar here, Sigmar there in AoS the old shrine-turned-house kit would be a perfect fit -way better than for the Old World outside of Mordheim or some temple district, I'd say- whyyy are they not selling it anymore. Or giant-skull-tower and over-a-hundred-skulls-per-wall watchtower.

Looking for a Skaven Doomwheel banner to repair my Nurgle knights.

Eh. They still have the molds, they might just be rejigging it a bit as there were complaints that it did not fit together right.

Really? Mine went together like a dream! Only terrain piece I've had problems with so far was the Numinous Occulum.

Looking at the pics of the Dragonfate Dais it appears a bit... droopy. Do the plastic stairs hold the weight of the platform up well enough? The painted example on GW's website doesn't look like it's flat, but shifting to the side.

I was really expecting the Dragonfate Dais to be reworked like they did the Magewrath Throne. Here's the before pic...

Okay, pre-december discounts showing up already? That's good.

But I don't work currently and I want almost every set. That's bad.

I'm not sure if I want the scenery or the paint bundles. I've started the hobby properly just since last year, with Tau and Seraphon, but I want to get small forces from different factions later on anyway so... yeah, not a quite easy decision.

At this stage packaging is usually a mock up and may not be final.

The Air Paint Bundle seems really good. Might need to snag one.

In the beginning, the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Whee. Complaining about discounts. Surely GW is damned if you do, damned if you do. Raise prices, get complains. Give discounts, get complains. If they gave models free you would STILL see complains without doubt...

Nah, I was just joking about the goofy promotional wording, before things got clarified. Seems like they could have just said, "Bundled at a 25% discount".

Dragonfate Dais and the Realmgate went together very well. Both solid pieces. The Ophidian Archway however, was horrendous to assemble. Huge gaps and the pieces didn't fit together very well. Same with the Dreadfire Portal actually.

Got to admit, I'm still slightly baffled that GW have some of their terrain (possibly all?) cast up in China.

Still, I've got a Lair of The Astromancer in bits, so might as well consider a board this year (still tempted by a GW one, but Homebase is right around the corner....)

Already happened.

"I already have the Slaughterpriest. Outrage!"
