Basically title says it all, I came across this model and it's insanely dope.... was like Oh i could use this as my great unclean one.. well the base is 130mm instead of 60mm... Haha so my question is is there anything this model could be used for with daemons (nurgle) in 40k? I love the model so much but dont play AoS

But his base is like 2x the size. Doesn't that prohibit it from being "allowed"? Sorry im kinda a rookie with official things.

Do i need to use different rules/stats as a "Forgeworld great unclean one?" or is it same stats as codex

Daemon Lord: Scabeiathrax the Bloated in IA 13 is the most current rules I am aware of.

So to confirm, I cant use him as a normal Great Unclean One in a tournament etc.

Additionally, can i use forgeworld in tournaments?

Very much dependent on the tournament in question. You are disadvantaging yourself by using a much larger model so I hazard a guess most would be ok with it.

So essentially youre saying competitively I cant use this model in place of anything in 40k?

I use my Glottkin as a Nurgle Chaos Knight in 40k.

There's no rules that say you can't use it for anything, it just depends on the specific tournament you want to play in and if your opponent is happy with it.

No one is saying that. You would be at a slight disadvantage if using it as a GUO, and I think 90% of TOs would be fine with it.

A chaos knight is a good shout. Would be interesting to see them side by side. Glottkin may need a bit of bulking out to match the profile. In this instance I'd want to rebase him onto a knight base.

For starters, before End Times, the Glottkin was originally supposed to be the GUO. So go nuts with using it as such. Hell, I'm doing it now (with a Maggoth head instead) for my GUO.

If you NEED a side by side shot with a Knight, I can do that tonight. I have both. Multiples of both...

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

You can 100% use it as a Giant Spawn since the model for one doesn't exist and therefore there are no dimensions to apply to. I am considering buying and using Glottkin as my 3rd Giant Spawn.

.. the model does exist...

Looks like a remarkably good fit for a nurgle knight
