I am going to a competitive tourney this weekend.

I don't really care how well I do. I just want to have some fun. I've never used Magnus, but I would at least like him to survive a turn or two for some shenanigans.

I plan on summoning in my army in turns 1-2 (granted anything lives). I got tons of demons stored up to bring in. 25 starting warp dice.

-=Rehati War Sect=-
Magnus
Exalted Sorcerer x3 w/discs and spell familiars

-=Heralds Anarchic=-
2 x ML2 Heralds
1 x ML2 Herald on disc

-=Chaos Allied=-
Sorcerer w/burning brand
18 chaos cultists

Void Shield Generator x3 (for Magnus)

I don't really see why you are taking an allied detachment?

Take more daemons or something actually effective

The allied chaos marines would not be legal if Magnus is the warlord.

I don't think you actually have a fortification slot in this list.. Tho the void shield isn't a terrible idea.

Competative tournaments usually aren't the best places to use a 650 point model for the first time.

As to the list, beyond what Captyn_Bob pointed out, have you considered taking Magnus and 3 princes with the Heralds as spare batteries and summoners? They're [the princes] not as easy to hide as the disk sorcs, but they're also daemons (so can summon without perils) are princes, so can bully lots of things and can fly so if they're in real danger, they can take to the skies if required. If even 1 of them gets shrouded, that's a 2+ cover rr1's when you jink too.

Rehati are best with Daemon Princes, and Lords of Change are--with the exception of breadth of psychic powers--better than ML3 Daemon Princes with wings. The Rehati bonuses are interesting but not awesome. Try this on for size:

Daemon CAD:

1x Kairos
1x Lord of Change ML3

1x Pink Horrors x10
1x Pink Horrors x11

Heralds Anarchic

3x Herald of Tzeentch ML1

CSM CAD

1x Sorcerer ML1 + MoT

2x Cultists + MoT

3x Rapier Battery w/Quad HB. (Heavy 6, TL)

1x Magnus

You'll have a few points left over, but not enough to do anything interesting.

This way you get a flying circus of Magnus, LoC, and Kairos, plus a bunch of battery units with Objective Secured. Put the Heralds with the Horrors, and have the cultists camp backfield objectives.

Magnus has an assload of Str: D powers (3, I believe) and depending on what you get with Kairos and the LoC you'll have gak ton of psychic dakka from the fair to play with. Save the D to pop tanks and such, and use the Change primaris and your Rapier batteries to gun down weaker units.

The misbegotten result of a regrettable threesome between two orky gods and one multi-use utensil.
