I've been listening to some slam recently. For those unaware of the genre, it's basically death metal, but more awesome.

I've also been listening to Anaal Nathrakh, who blend black metal and grind in their music.

And finally, there's this great EP by a band called Gallowbraid called "Ashen Eidolon". You should check it out.
