Question for those that have played. If they add characters with powers, do you think the game could still be played?

quick question about special attacks can any character make any special attack as long as he has the counters or can you use the special attacks mentioned on the character card ?

Crimson-King - Some have counter cost listed for specials. AKA Jokers One Shot Gun . Batmans Counter attack you do not need attack dice to make the swings back if you sucessfully block

CDL - What do you mean characters with powers? They all have powers already?

And by 'powers' I think he means characters along the lines of Superman, Wonderwoman, Flash, etc.

And yes, I do think they would 'break' the game - street level types work best in this setting...

Ah ok. Yea it would break the game and our group thats plays would either ban them or quit. Batman and Bane are already pretty gross beaters. Adding Superman, Wonderwoman would ruin it. Youd then need options for Batman to use his Kryptonite gloves and it would get to messy

Darn that would have gotten me into it. I'm not a Batman fan but I am of all the others. I would love better figures than those Hero Clix!

Ah, OK then - I was sticking to 'just' the characters in the game.

Of course, with Green Arrow and Deathstroke, they're already expanding the cast of characters.

They'll keep it to 'street level' types - but Batman's list of villains offers a lot to choose from.

Maybe we'll get a Calendar Man mini?!?

There is an Arkham-verse version of Red Robin, he's a DLC outfit, looks fairly neat too.

Just bought Mr Freeze :-)

I've been thinking on the other characters of DC, and I could see some of the "lesser powered" characters showing up(hell, we got Deathstroke and he has a healing factor and enhanced strength, as well as a few other metapowers).

Y'know, like Zatanna, Cyborg, Mr. Terrific, Black Lightning, etc. Hell, throw in the entire original Outsiders line-up(maybe even the Nightwing led version, too).

Only just noticed this game on Wayland, was a bit confused at first with no rulebook and lack of actual miniatures but upon digging deeper into google and here it seems a really nice system

As someone that loves archery, I want that Green Arrow model, it's awesome IMO

There's some Green Arrow bad guys that could b done too like Merlyn and Count Vertigo.

The Flash might be overpowered but some of his bad guys are not. Trickster, Captain Boomerang, and Heat Wave.

Anyone purchase their arkham city minis from thesupplydrop and recieve them yet?

I placed an order for the following at the end of November:
The Killer Croc
The Joker Crew Starter Set
Harley Quinn
Gotham Police
Batman

I added these to the order in December:
Bane
Catwoman
Nightwing
Penguin Starter Crew
Dark Knight

The order says "in progress" and they have told me they are waiting for the items from Knight Models.... but it's been over 4 months from the origional order and over three months from the updated order. I see you can buy these in US stores now too.

I have been patiently watchig this thread and reading about others who have recieved their minis!!!! AARRGG

It's clear Knight are struggling to keep up with demand, so its certainly possible but

I'd contact them and ask them to ship what they have (assuming they have anything)

then decide whether you want to continue waiting with them or try elsewhere for whatever you're missing

They were at first but aren't now and haven't been since January. In fact I'm getting my orders within 9-10 days lately.

Sig'd and I confirmed my order this morning with Knights Models so since it's Friday that means they invoice me next week, I pay etc so everything should be in early April to the second week...just in time for ADEPTICON!!!!!

We will be getting Calendar Man. His abilities change depending on what day you are playing the game!

Looks amazing! I'd like to see a physical, hard-bound copy of the rules before I commit. Also, any chance for a Ra's al Ghul gang?

That was already talked about but yes and i wouldn't count on a hardbound book for a while. The reason being they are spending the koney on the minis and not doing much with a book. In a year or so if they see a strong sales from it they may release one.

The models are gorgeous and the rules are pretty sound there are a few mistranslations but otherwise very solid and very fun

Anyone know the deal with the spray template ? Do the sections (lethal seriously mild) have any additional effects or are they just for show
