Do they have the STC to make baneblades there. I ask for I am planning on setting up my world Rojina there, but if they lack Baneblades, well then I'll have tp pick another planet, as Baneblades, LRs, Chimeras, deathstrikes, manticores and bassies are the main focuses of the 227th ( Ok, ya thats a good chunk of the imperial viecheles, but whatever). Otherwise, I'll pick another world.

So make yourselves ready. We are the First Kronus Regiment, and today is our Victory Day. " - Governor-Militant Lukas Alexander, Commander 1st Kronus Regiment

Its main thing is the Praetor Armoured Assault Launcher which is has the STC

But being a Forge World it would be likely to have access to the Plans for a Baneblade, so no reason why it wouldn't be able to

Technecally to obtain the STC for a Baneblade you must first...

Get a message requesting the STC to Mars and then it must be signed in triplicate, sent in, sent back, queried, lost, found, subjected to public inquiry, lost again, and finally buried in the ash wastelands for three months and recycled as ammunition explosives.

THEN THEY GOTTA SEND IT BACK TO YOU AFTER DOING ALL THAT IN REVERSE!

But there is nothing saying that Forge World doesn't have the Baneblade STC. So have at it.

Well you don't need the STC to make something...

Which is why most worlds are able to produce what they need

the STC will come up with ways to manufacture said item with available resources. So you don't need the STC to produce Baneblades on said world.. we just know one exists somewhere, so that the Techpriests can know how to build one

They need the blueprints to build them and Mars isn't exactly eager to hand them out. The AdMech jealously guards their secrets and only hands them out when they find it convenient to do so. Some Forge Worlds make "counterfeit" Baneblades without the blueprints which aren't nearly as good. Or they make things like the Macharius to fulfill Munitorum contracts.

But this being a Forge World that holds a working STC, it would be considered a 'Holy World' in the eyes of the Mechanium (even more so then they usually consider Forge Worlds)

So it would stand to reason that this world would be governed by a extreamly high ranking member of the Mechanium and would hold great favor/relations with Mars.

I feel here that you are slightly confusing Hive Worlds that have forges, and manufacture for the Imperium under licence, with Forge Worlds themselves which are governed and answer only to the mechcanium themselves.

Lucius is an example of this. It had to lobby Mars for the blueprints to start making Baneblades. Beforehand it made up for it's inability to make them by recreating the Macharious design in order to fulfill it's contract to Krieg.

So basically, there isn't anything saying they don't have the STC? If that's the case I'll just say they do (since, well 227th use baneblades, and shadowswords, with Macharius Vulcan tanks, I don't own the overly expensive models, but for my regiment's fluff).

I read about the Praetor early. Honestly the more I look at it, the more I want it.

Its not that they have a STC for a Baneblade.. STC's are super rare and predate the Age of Darkness and the Great Crusades, the not mentioning of having one means it is more likely they don't, While the mention of them having the STC for another Superheavy tank is note worthy

We do know that there is likely a STC somewhere in Imperial Controlled space, Or the plans for the creation of these tanks Survived on Mars during the Horus Heresy.

Schrott

The STC for the Baneblade is shared around. They copy it and send it to whoever needs it with the main print staying on Mars forever more.

As far as I know. Unless there is something out there specifically stating "THIS FORGEWORLD DOESN"T HAVE THE BANEBLADE BLUEPRINTS!" then it could have it and there is nothing that says they don't.
