I'm not sure what more they can do with Predator that would be anything interesting. One set in the future like the concrete jungle game with a cyberpunk vibe could be something. The first Predator was like lightning in a bottle. Maybe i'm getting old (23) but I feel like i've seen it all at this point. I just don't find action films very good anymore past 1 or 2 viewings.

Shane Black has confirmed that the film is set in the present day and the titular character will have an upgraded set of armor. Black has also indicated that the film would be a sequel set in present day 2018, following the events of Predator and Predator 2, but set prior to the events of the 2010 film Predators. and mentioned that he looked for plot details set up in the previous Predator movies that he could retrospectively link back to with the new film. In February 2016, the studio revealed a teaser image of the film, confirming the title The Predator.

Shane Black is writing/directing. He did Iron Man 3, Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang(great flick) and more... also was present in the original "Predator" as the radio operator.

SO its supposed to be before Predators, interesting. Would be interesting if the predator kicks ass but is captured by the other three predators, setting up that film.

Can you imagine their prank war with Alien House? The pledge rush hazing scenes? The big Drunk Basketball game played for keeps that climaxes with Dean Henrikson getting his rich comeuppance? This needs to happen.

The Narcos guys is getting lots of roles now. This, Logan...I wish the other guy would get more roles. I like him as an actor.

Why are they wearing solid green fatigues if its 2017? Thats very early 1980s.
