Hi. I'm trying to put together a fun, but also competitive list with Death guard and Alpha legion. The list is pretty reserve heavy with a auxiliary - 2 heldrakes, formation - mayhem pack(3 Helbrutes with DS) and two min units of cultists. This is why I decided to bring a Alpha legion CAD, so I could bring a comms relay. I hate unpredictable reserves. Any suggestions you guys could make to strengthen my list? What do you think about plasmas on the chosen instead of meltas? Or swap them out with a termicide melta unit? Or make room for Alpha legion chosen infiltrators? Any suggestions are appreciated.

I've always been incredibly disappointed with my mayhem pack and would never advise them in a list. Trading the chosen out for maslta if you do ditch the MM 'brutes would be a good move, though trading them for termicide would be a real danger of putting ever more units into reserve.

Reserves are risky in general, but the comms relay helps. I was also tempted to bring Alpha legion chosen as troops instead of cultists, but I couldn't find the points. It blows that the mayhem pack is bad, I just bought two more brutes..

The problem with Mayhem Pack is the unmitigated deep striking and having to roll on the Crazed table every turn
