Hi, I'm adding a second librarian to my Grey Knights army, and he's going to use the Sanctic Discipline. I've only got 25 points left (otherwise I'd take both) so should I upgrade him to mastery level 3 and get the extra warp charge dice (to a total of 10) or get the Liber Daemonica instead, and have one fewer dice but have the ability to reroll 1s when he's casting Sanctic powers? Either way he's have three powers plus the primaris.

Whats your whole list?

My 1300 point list (everything I own) is:

Level 3 librarian with teleport homer (as I have 10 spare points)
Level 3/Liber Daemonica librarian
5 terminators with hammer and psycannon
5 terminators with hammer and psycannon
5 terminators with hammer and psycannon
Dreadknight with heavy psycannon, heavy incinerator, sword and personal teleporter
Stormraven with lascannon and multi melta

Yeah it's one hammer and one psycannon per squad. The rest have swords.

The reason my army is currently 1300 points is because that's all the models I currently have. Once I have my second dreadknight it'll be 1500 points. I'm part of a friendly group who plays at Warhammer World UK, and we don't do set army sizes. If want a 900 point battle for example then I'll ask and see if anyone wants one. I know that in some more serious groups and events etc things will always be 1500 points, 1850 points etc.

So do you think give the second librarian the Liber?

Nah the lascannon and multi melta upgrades are free, the stormraven is 200 points exactly.

That's an idea...

I could reduce my warlord down to ML2 (he's there to provide Precience and try to get Invisibility, taking psychic shriek if he fails) which ML2 is fine for. Then bump librarian #2 up to ML3 and give him the Liber, giving him 4 Sanctic powers plus the generally useless Primaris.
