First mini I've done that I've thought worth of a showcase! I thought that the official Yncarne model didn't quite capture what I'd imagined an Eldar Death God to look like, so I thought I'd fix that

Looks awesome. What exactly did you have to convert to get there? Is the face custom?

Thanks man you're right the face is custom. There's actually quite a few changes though so I'll list them in case anyone else wants to try.

- The right leg has been cut at the knee and rotated 90 degrees so she's walking forwards.
- The left arm has been lowered so it's pointing forwards
- The head has been rotated left so she's looking where she's pointing
- The left half of the face has been cut away and replaced with a blank facemask carved from sprue (because I'm a GS luddite!)
- The right half of the face has had the eye and nose hollowed out with a pin to turn it into a skull
- Cut out most of the hair and swirly stuff and cobbled together various bits and pieces to make a reduced amount look right
- Knife clipped off right arm

I think that's most of it!

Very menacing, although I do imagine all the other Eldar shimmying just outside 7" range after witnessing what happens to their compatriot.

Thanks dude yeah I imagine it's pretty traumatic for onlookers! Not only has your mate had his brains blown out, but some terrifying warp entity spawned from your race's God of Death has just erupted from his chest.

I'd certainly steer well clear...

Nice build. I think the colours blend into the base a little too much, but it's a more imposing model than the original.

Thanks man yeah the whole blending of colours and having most stuff low-contrast is just sort of the style I paint. I've painted stuff before in the usual Eldar style of high contrast brighter colours and I just don't like how it looks as much (on my models anyway, maybe I'm just bad at it!).

This is an amazing conversion. Very nicely done. It is an interesting, but fitting take on a god of death.
