How are frost swords classified. Are they a power weapon, Special weapon or just a CCW like other chain swords?

Do you mean in terms of rules or in terms of fluff?

Rules-wise, they are their own thing, with a different stat-line from similar power weapons.

Fluff-wise, they are made from the claws and / or teeth of the various dangerous beasties that live on Fenris, rather than utilizing a disruption field (like what power weapons use), making them closer to ordinary chainswords in terms of physicality. I'm not huge on SW history, so I'm sure someone will point out where I'm wrong.
