Hello I guess

I have wanted to return for some time now, every once in a while I would load up the games work shop page and browse through it, secretly.

I don't know why I stopped in the first place for sure I think it was a combination of my work hours changed, store manager changed (did not like the new guy I must say)my last child hood friend quit and my army thread on a different site was taken down, I felt quite alone in the hobby.
Then I found my partner, we had a child and now live together I also have new friends, neither my partner or my "friends" know I ever collected or want to collect warhammer.....

time to let the cat out of the bag.

So I've been playing table top simulator learning the new rules still not quite got all of the new rules locked down yet, alot has changed since 5th and I do mean ALOT!
I've been trying out various ork lists, they are really under powered right now but I don't care, orks are da best even if you loose you don't really loose because you had the chance to fight in the first place.

Wwwwwwwaaaaaagggggghhhhhhhhhhhh

Welcome back, which army would you scope out on GW? You joke about telling people about wanting back in... There is truth to that though. When i tell my wife that this little toy soldier only costs eighty dollars she gives me the death glare. There is also a stigma that goes along with war gaming as well. However the models have never been nicer so maybe just dip a toe and see how it feels...

I have looked at them all but elder, they never quite did it for me, and the army of choice will be orks competative or not every one likes to see orks, every body likes to play against orks.

I've played In one doubles tournament with my friend who quit and we never won one game we were epic loosers and were rewarded for it, to this day my most memorable and fun gaming experience, he on the other hand quit after that.

The price is not a problem these days.

The stigma is real I lost friends through it as a child and remember other kids coming into our shop and harassing us for playing with our soldiers, but now I'm in a position in which I do not care ere we go!

Going to start small buy the codex the paints the core of the army will be zadsnark and 9 bikers and 15 deft koptas for a competitive edge the rest will be fluffy units.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
