I am in dire need of your help dakka.

I'm taking the 3 hour round trip to warhammer world tomorrow (friday) to pick up some bits for my death guard, including two apothecaries. I use them with power swords but the models come with chainswords attached.
Does anyone know how easy the weapons are to swap? I'd rather not have to change my list or custom build my apothecaries.

It's an incredibly simply swap.

You can either:

- Cut the hand off (at the wrist) and attach a power sword, or
- Cut the chainblade off and add the blade of the power sword in its place.

Option two is what I did it looks decent enough. Though if you got a lot of power blades laying around from BaC or BoP I suggest the hand option if you get a delicate enough saw or knife

Thanks guys, I'll take a look when I get the models and probably pick up a set of weapons from forgeworld too, make sure I have plenty of power weapon options.
