Hey! So this list comes in at 2996 points. Generally theme is more important to me with this Army than OP WAAC type stuff, but I want to be able to put up a good fight . Strategy will be basically tanks and medusas hiding behind the aegis laying down pieplates (maybe even the tanks making an AV14 screen for the artillery? Tyrants with the siege breaker and MoS stay back laying down fire, with the sarg manning the Quad Gun if a flyer comes in. Breachers and Cortus Dreads advance on objectives with the Milita Squads screening them, Tyrants following suit if possible. Milita squads can also bubble wrap tanks and artillery if need be. Really looking forward to Militia being mestshields for my IW lol. Also looking to reduce this Army to 2500 for LVO lists. Thanks for any input!

It looks a little short on anti-armour to me; as is the Medusas are the only thing that can even attempt to go after anything heavy. I might suggest finding space to give the Contemptors guns instead of extra close combat weapons for the sake of flexibility, or at least swap some of the bolters for built-in graviton guns (could drop one or two Tyrants for the points, 520pts is a lot to stick in one basket) to threaten/stall vehicles and assault units.

Also not entirely sure what your plan is if any serious melee threat makes it to your line. It may just go through things.

Balanced Game: Noun. A game in which all options and choices are worth using.

Well I have had good experience with the Tyrants at one turn glancing down everything up to a Shielded knight, or Titan. Between them, the Medusas, and the Leman Russ S8 Ordnance I feel ok about AT in my local meta which is more infantry based.

I hear you about CC but I'm hoping that the 3 cortus will be low priority enough to avoid being shot at until their rage and S10 attacks can be used. Also whist mostly a shooting unit the Tyrants still have a boatload of S8 AP2 attacks on the charge with decent saves in return. I'm not saying that they can take on a Primarch and his Death Star in CC but hopefully I will have placed at least 1-2 turns of medusas on top of them by the time they get to my army.

I wouldn't mind dropping one of the milita squads to free up some points. I don't want to invest in a Primarch or a praetor with this list. Any suggestions for CC ability or what to use those spare points on from the milita squad?
