So the problem is within the title. I love the LoC model but love the BT rules. DO you think its possible that I use the LoC as a counts as BT. IM pretty sure (from the pictures on google) that they are relatively the same height. Would you allow it? Im going to do a little bit of conversion work, but the LoC will be using the D-thirster's rules.

There was a poll in that thread, and most of the commentors seemed fine with the idea, but it would be best to ask your gaming group.

As long as it was obvious which was which (i.e. do you have actual LoC's in the army?), I'd be fine with it.

So long as you converted the LoC to look a bit more Bloodthirster like, so your opponent doesn't get confused, it would probably help if you had some 'reason' to back it.

More than that, LOCs have better rules than BTs

If it's red and black and looks khornish ok that's cool if it looks like a LOC no

If it's converted well and is a cool, well painted model, opponents would look pretty pathetic for refusing you a game.

I'd only ever be annoyed if there's confusion as to what's what on the tabletop, or if someone's using a really crappy stand in (e.g. coke can drop pods etc.) Even then I'd definitely still play you, just not be very impressed.

I would let it fly even as an obviously LOC looking model. Just as long as it's crystal clear that this LOC is different from your average LOC. He can be all blue n fancy but he needs to look like he means business.

As long as there isn't any other Lord's of Changes on the table I am okay with it.

Now that LOC has a new model I use my old metal LOC as a tzeentch DP. But not sure I personally would try to play him as anything Khorne. I agree it would take some conversion and red paint.
