Was going to up date just my Space Marine armies to current 7th edition books... that's 23 publications and $600. I think I'll wait until 8th ed. What on earth is GW thinking?! Just wow.

I'm truly hoping for a balanced 4th ed with all current units finding a home, and since it sounds like some 2nd ed stuff is showing up... I feel a little hope.

Where are you getting 23 books from?

Space Marines may have too many books but by my count 23 books means you've got to be playing at least ten different armies (seven 40k armies, three 30k Legions)...

Well he said Publications so I'm assuming he's also counting those "Pamphlet" Dataslates and whatnot? Those little buggers add up fast, especially if he has inquisitorial units.
