I was casually reading my rulebook I got in my shadow wars armageddon book when I came to the different marine groups and the skillsets they can take. The usual suspects were there, blood angels, space wolves, ect. But something stood out to me.

There was a chapter called the sons of guilliman where you would expect to see ultramarines. Now they have been iconic since forever, and I can't imagine they were left out accidentally, especially to be replaced for a white and blue checkered copy.

Mabye something happens to the ultramarines in 8th. Mabye they are re-made into these super marines rumors hinted about (what i feel is a cheap way for gw to get you to re-buy an army you already own)

Now there was another not big name chapter in there, so I could be jumping to conclusions, but it seems odd they would leave out THE iconic chapter.

warhammer 40k mmo. If I can drive an ork trukk into the back of a space marine dread and explode in a fireball of epic, I can die happy!

The Sons of Guilliman are an established Ultramarines Successor Chapter. They had six companies on Armageddon - the Ultramarines weren't there in any great strength.

You're also making huge leaps to conclusions even if the Sons of Guilliman were not a chapter. Even if Ultramarines did rename(to anything), it would NOT mean any other changes unless those changes were explicitly stated.
