The Dawn of War series has many good characters worth noting. So what characters are your favorites

(I've only played 3 missions of DoW, and I'm not checking the black hole of depravity and gakky memes that is 1d4chan to find out info about the others.)

3. Gorgutz. Really, is there any reason not to like him?

4. Kais. Master of Monat, an entirely different battle strategy than the Tau normally practice, and an all around cool dude.

5. The IG Techpriest's voice. That is just... amazing. Truly a work of auditory art. If I may say so, possibly the second best voice acting performance of all time, after Space Core.

I like the interplay between the cast of the DoW2 campaign quite a lot; Space Marines are all too frequently written as weirdly hive-mind-ish and one-dimensional, throwing that widely-varied a set of personalities in a room and watching them strike sparks off each other comes across as humanizing without undermining the basic Space-Marine-ness.

But for a specific list of characters I'm going to go for Cyrus, Tarkus, Eliphas, Badrukk, and the Bonesingers from DoW1 in no particular order, for reasons ranging from depth to comic effect and strength of the voice actor.

I didn't think any of the DoW characters were anything special, honestly.

1. Kaptin Bluddflagg! Love the fact he does his whole storyline for the sake of a good fight and a fancy hat.

I can hardly remember the others. I guess Gabriel Angelos was cool, too. And the Inquisitor in DoW 2, she looked cool.

As someone mentioned voice acting, the voice of the commissar in DoW 1 (german version) was awesome. Even though I'd never play Imperial Guard I always thought about buying some commissarmodels just because of that voice

They're cool dudes, Cyrus a bit less so, but I just love to things up with, he's like a self guiding artillery round with the remote bombs. Tarkus is going to Tarkus and he has been my crutch for a lot of missions.

But Eliphas, always and forever, will be my favourite. I never particularly cared for Chaos before Eliphas but he kindled my love for Chaos and prompted me to buy some of the novels, like Primogenitor(The best 40K novel ever written).

1) Gabriel has gotta feature there somewhere - possibly at the top. The first cinematic of the campaign in DoW1 really got me into 40k good and proper, with the Blood Ravens' intervention.
2) Sindri Myr - for teaching us how chaos is meant to be played
3) Eliphas - for adhering to Sindri's teachings in DoW2
4) Gorgutz - for being the biggest, baddest warboss of all the boyz! Also by getting beat repeatedly and vowing to get them next time like a Saturday morning cartoon villain.
5) I'd also suggest Inquisitor Toth, just for the way he said 'yes?'

Probably 1-5 would all be Kaptin Bludflagg.

But that would be boring, lets see.
