Greetings.
First of all, sorry if this is not the best place for this topic, but I think it can be considered as a new. Also, I am not a doomsayer or something like that; I just want a clean discussion.
So I logged in my e-mail and noticed this in my inbox:
Hello,
We've recently changed the currency in the Rest of World locale from GBP to USD. We noticed that you'd had a balance left from a gift voucher left on your account that was purchased in this locale so we've converted it to USD. The details are below:
Was there any kind of reason behind this? after all,
GW is still located in
UK. Was there any indication previously to suppose this?
This is quite a big deal for me: as Mexican, our Peso-Dollar change is quite volatile right now, and also this makes it overall more expensive to get stuff now: I don't have access to any independent store near to me, and now if I want a Start Collecting! from the international store I'll have to pay $20.10/£15.48 additionally.
Are any other international costumers getting troubles with this?
