I recently got a wizard's castle...and I'm surprised that the quality of old resin cast can be this...bad, full of air bubbles and holes.
Is this something you can expect from old Warmaster model ?

I think the first question needs to be: Is it an original model or a recast? Clean, shiny new primer makes it a little suspicious.

I actually think with a bit of scraping and shaping those impurities makes it looks weathered... Just my thought. Cool looking pieces though

I have the same question since I got the piece and doubt that it occurs during the casting process.
I used to work for a company called aldona seals, which was a injection moulding/extrusion factory, this would happen if the rubber mix was contaminated with plastic.
It could easily be remedied with green stuff, its still a beautiful piece of scenery it has a atmosphere about it even when it's not painted.
