I think most of us are familiar with the brilliant MK 1.5 Land Raider conversion by the guy who runs Blood&Skulls Industries:


But since these are one of a kind plasticard conversions they're prohibitively expensive.
Now what if I told you that I have teamed up with Blood&Skulls to bring you a fully CAD conversion kit?


Including a replacement part for the top armor of the raider, because if you simply cut the sides off the piece the cupola will no longer fit.
 
Lastly I'll leave you with the 3D printed prototype of the road wheels fitted to a raider:

Now that would actually get my attention...have some Blood and Skulls stuff sitting next to my keyboard as I type this - it's pretty good stuff so far.

PS: This would all come down to cost, of course.

I really want that.. but I don't want to buy a whole land raider only to discard half of it (or more). Alternative hull pattern would make that really easy.

I literally received a bunch of B&S LR sized tracks (Liberator Pattern 0) today, and....now I'm not sure how I'm feeling about this. The new kit looks fantastic, and is more along the lines of what I wanted to do, but it's a bit frustrating trying to figure out where to go from here.

I have some ideas, that will probably be satisfactory in the long run, but the timing of this grates a bit.

I'd buy one. When do you think these will be available for purchase?

Wow, this is exactly what i have been looking for. Thanks, you saved me alot of trial and error trying to figure out how to scratchbuild the wheels and space them. Looking forward to them being available on the store. Hopefully the price will be good

Looking very nice! I really enjoyed watching the fella who runs B&S build his original kits on Dakka and it is nice to see the thing refined into something more easy to build.

Have you been working on some of his previous projects as well? I noticed a few new tank bits as well as some dreadnought legs that look pretty awesome

Do you know if the road wheels will be available separately? Those are the kind of thing I want to add to my standard-tracked Land Raiders, and a purpose-made piece would be much more pleasant to add than the arcane methods I intend.

I think you could work something out with the seller. Please do note that you'd have to get at least a whole extra Land Raider worth of tracks an that you'll be cutting a lot of those tracks apart for extra single links.

B&S ordered the parts last night, printing and shipping takes a week or 2. From there on out it all depends on how fast he can make the molds.

I've made a couple of purchases from blood & skulls over the past few weeks. Experience has been solidly very good. Pieces are crisp with little clean up required. Priced very attractively and come predrilled for magnets. I'll look to them when it comes time to make my blood angel superheavy

No worries, we get companies and vendors blowing their own horn here all the time, so long as our usual rules are followed there's no issue.

It looks like they have some suitable choices for Razorback turrets. I may have to give them a closer look. Even just the mount will give me the ability to attach GW parts on to them with a little cutting.

Any updates on this?
