10 years ago anoyone would have laughed at the idea of a marine riding a wolf.

No, but obviously when they finish making normal Marines obsolete they're going to have to start making Primaris-TWC, Primaris-Centurions, etc. to replace them.

Balanced Game: Noun. A game in which all options and choices are worth using.

10 years ago people still remembered 2nd edition and rogue trader, and probably would've welcomed marines riding wolves as a reminder of how 40K started off (namely, hilarious, silly, and over the top). I doubt anything will ever beat a battle battle between goff rocker's and OG noise marines in weird factor.

Not ridden on all fours, but they might give some pretty rad piggyback rides.

I think Marines riding primaris marines riding centurions in a chariot pulled by thunderwolves in Dreadknights is really the next logical step in that it's the only dang space marine kit GW hasn't shoved down our throats yet.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

Yeah, if it wouldn't be so expensive for such a dumb thing I'd be buying the parts to make it right now.

This is how I picture Black Templar Crusader squads eventually turning out.

5 years from now, there will be a primaris marine riding in a huge suit of armor, IN A HUGE SUIT OF ARMOR Space-Ganman style.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

A bike unit is probable and I wouldn't be surprised if the Redemptor dread is piloted by a regular able bodied Primaris marine.

Primaris Marines are supposed to be get Dreadnoughts, which might be closer to DreadKnights as there is no reason to permanently inbed a Primaris in the Dreadnought chassis which they can simple "Centurion" them up to Dreadnought status.

I don't think there's any reasonable hope that a useful conversation will come from this.
