In all seriousness, this is a pretty tried and true idea. A little more complicated example would be the Sons of Medusa. They are a IH successor but ... well, not in the traditional sense. There was a heresy within the AdMech and IH being quite close to the AdMech they got drawn into the whole mess. To avoid a Chapter War, the faction of IH that supported the heretical techpriests split off and became the Sons of Medusa.
