Subject: Raptors chapter- how to paint?

For some time I've been interesting in the sneaky, non-glorious, tactically oriented chapter of the Raptors. However, I can't seem to find the right colours for painting them. Does anybody know how you get this sort of dull green colour? What sort of basecoat, layer and highlight you'd use? http://s185.photobucket.com/user/plasticfish_photos/media/all_4_tac_raptors.jpg.html

Prime them black dry brush them Averland sun set, block paint them waaagh flesh, wash them in Agrax earth shade.
note the dry brush must be very light only touch the very outer edges of the model.
whish I had a marine to show you but I don't how ever that is the exact same colour as my orks flesh before I have added the mid tone and high lights glazes and so on extremely easy to do and achieve.
personally those models look imcomplete to me but that might be because if I was using the same techneaque there would be more paint to go on top of that.

Essentially it looks like green on a brown base. What I would do:
Basecoat the model Death World Forest (light olive)
Wash it brown, then black
Stipple Castellan Green (dark olive)
Stipple Death World Forest.
Followed by a lighter shade of green for highlights.
The muted part of the green seems to be coming from darker colors showing through the layer of light olive ever so slightly (or not so slightly the deeper the recesses get).

Vallejo Brown Violet or something similar. A nice army drab green. One of my favourite military colours.

Here's my Raptors:
Using an airbrush, this is how I went about it:
Reaper Master Series Olive Shadow (this is the shadow color, but I also leave a little black in the darkest areas)
RMS Olive Green (technically a highlight but is used as the "base" color)
RMS Worn Olive (highlight for base color)
Vallejo Model Air US Light Grey (sparingly as an extreme highlight; if it's too bright I'll give it a very light coat of RMS Worn Olive to bring brightness down a little)

They were painted mainly with Reaper paints, which probably don't have GW equivalents.

Thanks for the tips everyone. I basecoated my model (a landspeeder) Death World Forest and it looks pretty close to what I want. I'm thinking maybe some Athonian Camoshade over that and then some highlights. Question is, what's a good highlight for Death World Forest?

I'd be awful tempted to find a decent spray that matches (looks a bit like Russian mustardy green).

Thanks a lot- I basecoated a marine model with Death World Forest, then layered with Elysian, and then washed it with Athonian Camoshade and the result is just what I wanted.
