I noticed the 4 Imperial Assassins are no longer unique in any way - unlike the Solitaire, there's no limit to how many you can have in a Battle-Forged Army.

Not sure on multi-keyword factions.... Fielding them means either:

1) They are Imperium faction, so any Imperium detachment can include them as elites (so up to six Vindicaires (or Eversors) in a single Batllion detachment = the new better CAD))

OR

2) They are their own faction (Imperium | Officio Ass.) so the ONLY way to field them is as an Aux Support Detachment - which means only 1 assassin per detachment, and -1 CP with it.

Eversors, being the cheapest Assassins, can 8th ed Infiltrate with 9" in your first movement phase, and as I don't see any restriction to assaulting when coming out of the Concealment (he's not in "Reserve", since "Reserve" in 8th is a narrative mission special rule). He assaults 3D6", so with an average 10.5" assault range, and needing to only get 8" into combat, it's a more likely he'll be chomping on enemies with 8 attacks first turn!.... and you can have six of them!

They weren't unique in 7th either, as far as I know, unless they changed it in Imperial Agents.

All you need for being battleforged in 8th is that one faction keyword is shared by all units. You can slot an assassin into your otherwise all-space marine detachment.

IIRC in 7th they weren't unique but you could only have one of each assassin per OA detachment. So to have three Vindicaires you'd need to chew through 3 detachments.
