Its been awhile. 3rd edition was the last time I played this game seriously. Been a lurker for a while but this feels like a good time to get back into things. So...here is my attempt at a stompy foot slogging list.

This leaves me about 50 points left over for war gear? A power claw? Grot Oilers? 3x KFF covers majority of the army (27 inch bubble). 3x 30 mob boyz conga line to warboss and pain boy. 5++/6+ fnp makes the boyz feel pretty resilient.

That Gorkanaught didn't pay for any of it's guns.

Every unit now has to pay for the items it has - the points listed in the model entry don't account for wargear. This leads me to believe that the rest of your models points costs are off.

Also check out this list; it's similar to what you wanted to do (you can find the batrep online somewhere); I think the list got pretty lucky overall, so it's hard to say if the kan wall is effective or not.

Edit: oh, just noticed you have some boys, and not all walkers; seems like a good call.

I was wondering about the points costs also.

The points costs chart says wargear not included, and the Gorkanaut slate doesnt even have a wargear section.

Just think of it like this Gorkanaut is 364. End of story

Gork=364 always
painboy is at least 65(40 base plus 25 for klaw)
deffs is at least 153(74 base + 45 for klaws+36 for skorchas)
