This thread will be following my Kharadron Overlord army as I build it up. It's early stages but I'm hoping to present something really special.

Here's what I've built so far:









I've got the ship in sections for ease of painting. No idea what skyport I'll go for. Back in the day I had a red and white dwarf army, so I'm tempted to go with Barak-Thryng. But the temptation to make up my own skyport is too strong. And Barak-Zilfin looks so damn pretty too...I'll figure it out eventually!

I love those designs and it'll be really neat to see them when you start painting.

I say make your own skyport! that's always more fun and exciting.

Yeah I think I'm 99% certain I'll make my own skyport.

It turns out the Frigates flying base is actually on backwards. I'm a little embarrassed by that, but at least the ship is OK.

I also hope to start painting these next week. In the meantime, I have an Ironclad to build. And it looks like one hell of a job ahead of me.
