Good morning,
I was attempting to structure my first eighth edition t'au army and was interested in feedback and input on efficiency of various platforms. I have read through the math done on this site and agree with most of the assumptions used to create such math.

Here is what I was thinking and why, and am most interested on thoughts to handle mid strength fire the best way possible.

General anti infantry and weight of fire: strong units: gun drones, strike teams, breachers in devilfish
We are strong in this area and efficient enough it looks like

Heavy firepower for tanks and tough creatures or hero sniping: 4xfusion commander, longstrike, and stormsurge
We can fairly efficiently alpha strike scary things it looks like, we are nowhere near as efficient as marine predators with 4x lascannons or dev squads entrenched in ruins it looks like however, but might be able to bring that fire to bear easier where it's really needed

Most importantly however is finding how I ought to handle my strength 7 light vehicle/super infantry/bike targets
Choices look to be CIB crisis teams, missile pod crisis teams with ATS , and broadside teams with HYMP
Which of these would be most efficient when paired with copius S5 and S8 melta shooting? I was leaning toward crisis teams both from a fluff perspective, the fact that I will have a lot of commanders to issue mont'ka and kauyon, the alpha strike potential, and the range. I am quite turned off by the mathematics of points per wound however. Do you feel there is a better option for this? Or any formation considerations to maximize command points?
Thanks,
Joe
