With the release of 8th ed, I've been putting together a new Eldar army. Unfortunately, there's currently a few models that are difficult to find, so I decided to convert my own...

Shaved off all the Farseer ornamentation from the ghosthelm and smoothed over the face with GS (going for a wraithguard/lord effect), and swapped out the spearhead for additional Eldar-ey doohickies. Under an hour, all told.

When someone smiles at me, all I see is a chimpanzee begging for its life.

This is the best type of conversion! I will not use the word simple...working with GS and such never is...but fewer swaps and steps always leaves a clean look. Nice! Thanks for sharing!

Keeping the hobby side alive!

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Pretty nice!
You could also cut the little curvy thing at the back of the helmet, and glue it on the back (the spiritseers have fins in their back like wraith constructs).

Sometimes, the simplest processes are the most elegant.
